Hurricane Irene blew in last weekend. Lots of rain and lots of wind. Shawn was super nervous leading up to it. I mean we did just have an EARTHQUAKE! He asked lots of questions that we tried to answer truthfully but without freaking him out. He ended up being fine during it. Even went out and played in the rain some. We did all sleep in the front of the house on Saturday night. There's that big tree that makes me nervous in the back. Luckily there wasn't too much damage from Hurricane Irene. A big branch from our tree in the neighbors yard and lots of leaves everywhere. We lost power for a couple hours on Sunday morning. And it did flicker most of the morning which freaked the dogs out, but we fared pretty well. Poppy and Grandma JUST got their power back tonight. Yay for them. Glad that wasn't us.
