2 weeks down, 4 to go.

I know this blog is supposed to be about the boys, but I thought I'd give my loyal readers (all 2 of you) an update on my leg. I went back to the doctor on Thursday, 12/11. We brought the MRIs with us. Doc said that the MRI showed that the break was more extensive than was indicated by the xray. But still nothing he could fix with surgery. Whew. He wanted me to stay home for 2 more weeks, but then said I could go back the week of Christmas since it will be a short week. So it looks like I'll be at work sometime next Monday, 12/22.

I go back to the doctor on 12/30 for another xray. If it looks like the bone is healing well, I will then be allowed to start putting some weight on the leg. He said it should still be about 6 weeks total on crutches and probably 3 months before I'm back to "normal." (Whatever that means)

By my calculations, somewhere around 1/10 will be the day the crutches go. Not that I'm counting or anything...
