We had a lazy New Year's Eve in our house. (Aside: Ryan went to his friend's house for a while in the afternoon. Shawn and I did some shopping. Shawn bought himself this kick ass hat. And we also bought a hat for daddy. And so, Shawn kept calling the two of them "Hat Buddies" HA!)
Back to NYE. We ordered Chinese food, watched a couple of movies and just hung out at home. Just the 4 of us. It was nice. Around 11 Shawn started asking if it was bedtime and kept moaning on the floor. And so, at 11:30 I convinced him to come upstairs and lay in bed with me. And I'm sure you can figure out the rest of this story... that's right. The two of us were asleep in no time. Pretty sure Dad and Ryan made it til Midnight and might have been dreaming, but I also think Ryan came in and gave me a New Year's kiss goodnight before he went to bed himself.
I gotta be honest, 2010? Not my favorite year. Here's hoping for a better 2011. Peace, love and happiness to everyone in the New Year.
