Happy Thanksgiving

First, lets get the sad stuff out of the way... We have spent every Thanksgiving since Ryan was born at my Mom's house, so this year was different and a bit difficult for me, but we made it through and had a good day despite being a little sad. We miss you Nonnie! Hope they had yummy turkey up in heaven.

We hope everyone had a nice Turkey Day. We spent it at home in the morning/afternoon watching the parade and getting ready to eat. For dinner we headed down to Aunt Cindy's and Uncle Dennis' house. And they did not disappoint in either the food or the drama departments! The boys then worked off their turkey dinner by walking on Aunt Cindy's treadmill for most of the evening. Shawn (7) spent some time teaching Aunt Cindy, his great aunt, how to use his iPod. It was amusing. And Ryan told me that if I got drunk he'd drive me home. HA! That's my boy. Unfortunately, I forgot my camera (again!).

The Saturday after Thanksgiving we headed to Grandma and Poppy's house for our annual after Thanksgiving Thanksgiving meal with them. I personally LOVE Thanksgiving food so I LOVE getting to eat another fresh turkey dinner and it's always nice to spend time with family including Grandmom Weezie. The food, as always, was delicious and we got to bring lots home to eat as leftovers. While there the kids decided that we'd have a little photo shoot and since I remembered my camera this time, I was happy to oblige. We also had a small celebration for Samantha. Cannot believe she's going to be 10 on Wednesday. TEN! I told her I was not happy with her for turning 10. Not happy at all ;)

Again, we hope everyone had a great day or days with their loved ones and enjoyed all the yummy food. I know we did.
